The messages are not duplicated. The emailer system in the new member's system was locked for 2 days and there were multiple postings in the "Resource" stated in the email. Please click on the link in the email(s) and you can see the postings.
We're working on a solution to add "preview text" into the email, so it is more clear what each message is referring to so it doesn't look like duplicate emails.
Also, we have added a script to make sure that the emailer will unlock every day automatically even if it gets locked up.
New Membership Website - Members, the new membership site is up and running. You should have received an email with a link to a post in the new membership forums which details the changes. Please click here for a copy of the post that was made.
Forum/Listserv Changes
Login Changes
Please note that the listservs will be handled by the new membership site.
The listservs will phase out from being accessible by typing [listserv_name]@lists.ncsu.edu over the next 2-3 weeks.
All of the messages posted to the @lists.ncsu.edu listservs during the transition will be posted to the appropriate forum thread. Your can control your subscription to each one to receive a message on a daily or by individual message/post basis. Details are in the above package on how to do this. By default, you have been subscribed to your Regional and the National Listserv/Forum Thread on a daily subscription. You can change this by logging into the site and changing your subscription preference through the forums. Please see the document and video links in there for more details.
